Guided tour of a fully equipped coffee cooperative. This guided tour of CoopeTarrazú R.L. is one of the best ways you can learn about what happens to the coffee beans once they have been picked off the plant. CoopeTarrazú R.L has one of the largest manufacturing facilities in Costa Rica, and you can find all the specialized machinery used to convert coffee fruit into the toasted coffee beans found in your grocery isles. The owners of the coffee processing facility are all local farmers who have come together to provide a medium for processing some of the world’s best coffee in an environmentally conscious manner.

This tour can be taken at any time during the year, but from October to March, when the harvest is taking place, you will be able to experience the facilities full potential and see the coffee beans processed before your eyes. You can even participate in some of the activities.
